Jason Soliz
While most teenagers in junior high-school were busy practicing football or running track, Jason began to polish his martial art skills with his father Joe. Jason learned the art of punching and kicking but was drawn to the competition of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. At 12 years, he began competing in the mens adult divisions, defeating opponents much older and stronger than himself. Jason went on to win several divisions and titles and at the age of 16 he won the blue belt Pan American Junior Championship and was promoted to the rank of purple belt. Today Jason is a Full Instructor in Jeet Kune Do under Joe Soliz and continues to compete as a BLack belt in both advanced and professional divisions. Jason's mixed martial arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills as a fighter and coach exceed way beyond his age. Jason's vast knowledge and experience make him a great addition to TX3rdCoastMMA.
